Super individual
This autumn marks 9 years since I began my journey as a “one-person company.”
There was no team, no external funding, no fixed business plan — just a dream to create learning environments where people could reconnect with themselves, heal, and grow.
The most important thing is: how to find 'Who am I'!
Nine years later, www.tripmall.net/ has been build into a website that can undertake hotels, homestays, scenic spots, specialty (commodity), cruises, vehicles, and release information.
It carries my dreams and allows me to find "I am I".
www.tripmall.net/ has grown organically, learning along the way.
And through all the ups and downs, I’ve come to realize that building something meaningful doesn't require everything we’re taught to chase.
It doesn’t require a big team.
It doesn’t require loads of money.
It does, however, require clarity, courage, self-understanding and willingness to constantly learn new things.
So today, as I reflect on this journey, I want to share with you four things I’ve learned that may help you, too — especially if you’ve been dreaming of building your own path, but don’t know where to start.
01
“No Team” and “No Money” Are Just Limiting Beliefs
Throughout my entrepreneurial experience, I often heard people say:
“I would start my own project, but I don’t have a team.”
“I have a good idea, but I don’t have the money to make it happen.”
But what I’ve learned is this: Not having a team or money isn’t the problem. It’s the belief that we need them before we can even start.
The truth is, you don’t need a full team — you need clarity on what you can do and what you actually need help with. That begins with understanding your own strengths and weaknesses.
In the early years, I wore all the hats: marketing, financial management, operations, content creation, logistics because I realized early on that my cross-disciplinary experience allowed me to do so.
It wasn’t always easy, but it further taught me where I shine and where I don’t.
In the future, I will never give up any temptation to expand the boundaries of my ability. I want to tap my potential and explore my future.
Over time, that clarity helped me make smarter decisions — when to ask for help, when to collaborate, and when to do things on my own.
The same goes for money.
Unless your idea depends on high-tech R&D or manufacturing, most early-stage projects can be launched through creative value exchanges.
I’ve bartered skills, services and time for many of the things I needed along the way.
But that only works if you know what your value is — and are willing to put it out there.
So, before you tell yourself you “can’t start,” ask yourself instead:
What do I already have? What do I actually need? What can I exchange for what I need?
You may be closer to starting than you think.
You will also find that people around you have been exploring the possibilities.

02
Money Is Just a Tool — Start With the Life You Want.
Many people say they want to “make more money.” But very few stop to ask:
Why? What kind of life do I want that money to support?
For years, I was also struggling to chase society’s definition of “success” – get a great job and earn more money.
But when I sat down to define the kind of life I truly wanted — the rhythm of my days, the kind of relationships I valued, the work I loved doing — I realized I didn’t need millions to live it. I just needed enough to sustain it.
Money is not the destination. It’s the vehicle.
When we’re clear on the life we want to build, it becomes easier to understand how much money we actually need, and which kinds of income support or distract from that vision.
This clarity also makes it easier to say no to projects or clients that don’t align — because you’re no longer chasing money for its own sake. You’re designing a life, not just earning a living.
At the same time, it will easily avoid some unnecessary entanglements and liberate itself from the numerous and noisy.

03
There Is No Right or Wrong — Only Context and Timing
Another belief that held me back early on was the fear of getting things “wrong.”
Am I doing the “right” thing? What if I fail? What if I make the wrong choice?
In reality, there is no such thing as a “wrong” project — only projects that didn’t work in that moment, in that context.
Some of my ideas didn’t take off when I first launched them.
But years later, in a new city or with a new community, the same idea suddenly found its place; just like a piece in a bigger puzzle.
Environments change. People evolve. Timing matters.
Rather than labeling something a “failure,” I started asking myself:
What worked? What didn’t? Why? What did I learn?
Every project became a mirror for my growth and as such, successful in its own way.
And in this way, “failures” stopped to exist by turning into “continuous learning opportunities”.
04
Everyone Is a “One-Person Company”
You don’t need to register a business to be an entrepreneur.
In truth, every one of us is already a one-person company.
Most people simply don’t realize it.

They work for one “client” (their employer), selling two “products”: time and skills. But this is just one way to do business.
Some people have learned how to design a better Personal Business Model — one that starts from a clear understanding of their unique strengths, values, and ways of working.
When you learn how to turn your authenticity into value, you stop chasing jobs — and start creating opportunities.
You become the kind of person who never works a day in their life, but still gets paid for being exactly who they are and doing what they love.
This doesn’t mean everyone should quit their job tomorrow. But it does mean we all have the power to rethink how we relate to work, money, and meaning.
A “one-person company” isn’t about doing everything alone. It’s about becoming the kind of person who can build a meaningful, regenerative life — from the inside out.

Whether you’re a freelancer, employee, founder, or still figuring things out, this journey is for anyone who wants to redefine success on their own terms.
